LANXESS, one of the chief players in the world chemical industry, launches the “Ciclo Verde” 7th edition, a contest whose purpose is to promote social projects, initiatives, and businesses that seek to solve social and environmental problems of their communities in the cultural, educational, and climate and water protection areas.
LANXESS, one of the chief players in the world chemical industry, launches the “Ciclo Verde” 7th edition, a contest whose purpose is to promote social projects, initiatives, and businesses that seek to solve social and environmental problems of their communities in the cultural, educational, and climate and water protection areas.
Besides providing a financial support in the amount of ten thousand Reais for making the best ideas come true, Ciclo Verde has an educational feature, and offers to the selected projects expert technical support through workshops on social and environmental project management with a follow-up at every fifteen days.
From April 4th through June 1st, LANXESS will welcome social and environmental ideas and/or projects to be carried out within the cities' limits, in the case of São Leopoldo (state of Rio Grande do Sul) and Porto Feliz (SP), and within the São Paulo South zone. The participants in the contest may submit up to three projects to the maximum amount of ten thousand Reais (R$ 10,000.00).
All the submitted projects will undergo a pre-selection to be made by Ciclo Verde technical team. The best projects will participate in a live judging panel, made up of representatives from LANXESS, the government, local press, and citizens from the civil society. The winning projects’ awarding ceremony will be held from June 19th through June 27th.
